Youth united for climate crisis action

YUCCA Action is a 501c4 dedicated to holding our elected officials accountable to the health of future generations. We compiled voter information, ask candidates to take stances on climate issues, and host candidate forums.
Why? 

The state of New Mexico is home to the Permian Basin, and has become tragically dependent on oil revenue for the state budget. With the advent of the COVID-19 Crisis, and the associated crash of the NM oil market, our state finds itself in a tough position. We need elected leaders who have the creativity, vision and integrity to co-create a new economy, ecology and way of life with New Mexico citizens. We need swift and decisive action. We the next generation will ensure that candidates and elected leaders hear our voices and face the reality of our endangered future with justice, equity, accountability and courage.
